Organic Social
role: art director, animator, 3D designer, gameplay capture
NFL2K Playmakers was an upstart mobile game that merged elements of card collecting/upgrading with football strategy. Social strategy was very limited and usually involved showcasing current weekly rewards and new card tiers.
To highlight a new card tier or special theme release I would draw heavily on the card design, often utilizing Blender for 3D design and animation.

behind the scenes
Here is an example of a social asset in which Blender was heavily utilized. The goal was to recreate a vintage card dispenser and to incorporate it in a theme reveal video. This required modeling the machine from the ground up, including rudimentary mechanical design and animation.
Concept Work
role: animator, editor
Throughout the development of NFL2K Playmakers, my team would be utilized to quickly create and iterate on various UI and gameplay elements.
Pictured here is one such concept, which represented an overhaul of the first-time user experience as well as the main menu for season two of the game. I was tasked with sourcing NFL footage, gameplay capture and UI animation.
User Acquisition/Tutorials
role: animator, editor, gameplay capture
Longer form video needs for NFL2K included user acquisition ads that were run on a variety of online platforms as well as tutorials for limited time modes and events. In order to meet the tight deadlines required for these projects I would concept on the fly, and handle all aspects of production including copywriting, asset capture, gameplay capture, animation, editing, and sound mixing.
