Videogame Photography
role: gameplay capture, editor
Here you'll find a gallery showing self-driven gameplay capture/photography I've done over the years. This involves playing various games on the highest settings possible, using numerous third-party tools and hacks to attain camera lensing and POVs not possible normally in game.
My goal is simply to inhabit the game world as a photographer, and my approach differs with each game. For instance, I may shoot a horror game using a style that mimics vintage anamorphic lenses, imitating movies like Ridley Scott's "Alien" or John Carpenter's "The Thing". For an open-world game I might use wide angle lensing, as is used commonly in street photography.
